Calabas Burgundy Vase by Peter Savarrer
120 $The mouth-blown Calabas vase now comes in a unique duo-colour version, which beautifully reflects its relationship to the two existing colours in the series – amber and burgundy. Calabas Duo is created with a special ‘overlay’ technique. The two overlapping colours give it its own unique character, providing an unusually beautiful play of colours and really highlighting the unique process involved in the craft of mouth-blowing glass. The overlapping colours features a combination of warm amber and cool burgundy. The subdued, tranquil colours form a beautiful base with a touch of colour for all kinds of bunches of flowers, whether dried or fresh. The duo vase measures 21 cm and is suitable for a large flower bouquet, because the spacious bottom provides space for a lot of water, while the narrow waist keeps the flowers together. At the same time, the elegant design with the wider opening really shows off the flowers.

Calabas Tealight Holder – Amber
35 $The two new Calabas tealight holders beautifully reflect both the flame of the tealight and the colour aesthetic you know from the vases in the series. Both the Calabas tealight holders have a diameter of 8.5 cm and come in amber and burgundy, with the same soft profile as the vases. Choose the warm or the cold colour – or let them complement each other – to add an elegant, stylish touch to a table or windowsill – maybe together with one or more Calabas vases. As is the tradition at Holmegaard, both the vases and tealight holders in the Calabas series are mouth-blown by skilled glassmakers with many years of experience. They are master craftsmen and take pride in creating top-class, usable glassware.

Caramba Bowl by Ulrica Hydman-Vallien
Caramba from Kosta Boda is inspired by Mexico. “¡Ay, caramba!” is a bold statement that contributes to the power of the hand-painted black details on this mouth-blown dish: slithering snakes, jumping fish, and wildly blossoming flowers. Design by Ulrica Hydman Vallien.
Hydman Vallien’s work can be seen at National museum, Moderna Museet, Kalmar Konstmuseum, the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Victoria and Albert Museum,[11] the University of Michigan Museum of Art, the Chrysler Museum of Art, the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, the Detroit Institute of Arts, and Göteborgs Konstmuseum. -

Ehrner has been awarded with the Excellent Swedish Form award in 1992 and 1994 for her design, and became the winner of Swedish Glass in 1983. -
