Fidji bottle Multicolor – 365 mm -by Kjell Engman
With a background as a professional rock guitarist, musical influences play a large part in Kjell Engman’s work. The Swedish glass artist has created Fidji, an object of multiple colors merged into one whose shape bears a resemblance to the musical instrument organ pipe. The extraordinary art object is handmade at Kosta Glassworks in Sweden and is part of the Kosta Boda Artist Collection.
Kjell is a prominent designer of glass vases, bowls, and sculptures with kitschy and humorous expressions. His artistry is represented at the Swedish National Museum of Art and Design. -
